കാസര്‍കോട്ടെ പര്‍ദ്ദ ധാരണത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ച വധഭീഷണിയുടെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ ജെ.ദേവിക പറയുന്നത് ഇരുപതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിന്റെ തുടക്കത്തിലെ മാറുമറക്കല്‍ സമരത്തിന്‌ സമാനമാണ് മൌലികവാദികള്‍ പര്‍ദ്ദ ധരിക്കാന്‍ നിര്‍ബന്ധിക്കുന്നത് എന്നാണ് .ഇന്ഗ്ലിഷിലോ മലയാളത്തിലോ ഉള്ള ഇത്തരം വായാടിത്തരതിനെ അപ്പപ്പോള്‍ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യാന്‍ ഇവിടെ പെണ്ണുങ്ങള്‍ ഇല്ല എന്നതാണ് നമ്മുടെ ഫെമിനിസത്തിന്റെ ദാരിദ്ര്യം.മാറുമറക്കല്‍ സമരം പോലെ ഐതിഹാസികമായ ഒന്നും മതതീവ്രവാദികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യകാല ഭ്രാന്തും ഒന്നാണ് അത്രേ.pimp എന്ന വാക്കിന് സ്ത്രീലിംഗം ഉണ്ടോ?2010-ലെ ഇണ്ടഠതുരുത്തികള്‍ക്ക് വിടുപണി ചെയ്യുന്നതും ഫെമിനിസം !
